All I Hope For
The times we’ve spent just hangin’ out
Your love and caresses I can’t live without,
Wish I could change all I’ve done wrong,
But I promise I’ll be home before too long.
The trials and tribulations that life takes us through,
Strengthens the bond between me and you,
Assures us both of what’s in our hearts,
Teaching us each what we both want.
It would be nice if we had an easier path,
But I have confidence that our love is strong enough to last,
I need you now more than ever before,
Our lives together is all I hope for.
